Sanctuary

We are the cathedral parish of theĀ Anglican Province of Christ the King’s Archdiocese of Washington, DC. Our archbishop and rector, the Most Rev. Dr. John E. Upham, Jr., resides in Raleigh, NC, and makes regular pastoral visits to our parish.

Since its establishment in 1983, Christ the King’s home has been a historic vernacular Gothic church erected in 1856 in Georgetown’s East Village. Our congregation includes members from all over the greater Washington area.
