The Archbishop confirmed three parish members in the Faith during his visit.
February 29, 2020: Lecture by Professor Gillis J. Harp, Department Chair and Professor of History at Grove City College, “The Power and Place of the Word in the Anglican Tradition”
Dr. Harp specializes in American cultural and intellectual history of the 19th and 20th centuries. His books include Protestants and American Conservatism (Oxford University Press, 2019), Brahmin Prophet: Phillips Brooks and the Path of Liberal Protestantism (Rowman and Littlefield, 2003), and Positivist Republic: Auguste Comte and the Reconstruction of American Liberalism, 1865-1920 (Penn State Press, 1995). We will gather for Morning Prayer, followed by brunch and Dr. Harp’s lecture.
